Breaking Bad Habits

One of my followers requested for me to do a post on Breaking Bad habits! So, here I am!!

First off, let's define the word "habit" A Habit is: Doing Something Without Noticing It Or Thinking About It.
There are two kinds of Habits. There are Good Habits and there are bad habits. Good habits are when you do good things when you are not thinking about it. Bad habits are the total opposite. To break bad habits, you need a goal. Say you have a bad habits of picking or biting your fingernails. You should probably keep something like a pencil in your hands, to give them something to do. Think of other goals for other bad habits you may have. Just use your imagination.........................

Back to School: Middle School Tips!

Hey! Sorry I haven't posted in a while, but now I'm back! Since school is almost here, I will give some middle school tips, since most of the girls reading my blog are going to middle school. Like me!

First of all, you need to know that middle school is a lot different than elementary. You must expect changes. On the first day, be confident and do your best to make friends. There is really nothing to be scared of. You usually have an orientation for school. ( An orientation is where you go when school is about to start and you need to know important information for the school year such as learning about locker combinations, and seeing where your homeroom and other classrooms are )

Boys: Boys are at the age where they are mischievous and have bad behavior. It's a part of life. Don't try to control them because you can't, and it's not your job. Most middle schools have school dances. You can go for the fast songs only, or you can go for the fast songs and slow dances. If a boy asks you to dance, feel brave enough to say "yes" or "no".

So those are just some basic tips on Middle School! If you want to know more, I advise you read the book A Smart Girl's Guide to Middle School from American Girl!
Well, this is Natalie Wheeling posting and I hope you keep commenting and checking out my blog!!

Book Series from American Girl!

I enjoy reading American Girl books. Mostly the ones that give advice. This series of American Girl books are called A Smart Girl's Guide. I have about 8-12 books in this series. Here are a few:
A Smart Girl's Guide to Knowing What to Say
A Smart Girl's Guide to Starting Middle School
A Smart Girl's Guide to Friendship Troubles
A Smart Girl's Guide to Style
A Smart Girl's Guide to Manners
A Smart Girl's Guide to Liking Herself
A Smart Girl's Guide to Boys
A Smart Girl's Guide to Sticky Situations
A Smart Girl's Guide to Her Parents' Divorce
A Smart Girl's Guide to Parties

Those are only few of the books in the series that might help you the most. The books are suited for girls ages 8-13, just like my blog! And if you want to make sure it has advice, check the binding to see if it says the title and "be your best" on it. If it says "body and mind" it is a fact book about a girl's body and mind. So now you know!!!!
